Invoicing platform for freelancers and Swiss SMEs

Heftli interface

Swiss freelancers and SMEs need QR-Bill invoicing, a national standard most international tools support badly or not at all. The alternatives were enterprise accounting suites or spreadsheets.

I designed, built, and launched a production multi-tenant SaaS platform. I operate every layer: the Supabase and Stripe infrastructure, the migrations, the billing edge cases, and the frontend.

Relocation platform for the international community

Expats in Switzerland interface

Professionals relocating to Switzerland needed a reliable, practical resource. I wanted a platform that operates at under USD 10 per month while still handling dynamic features and lead capture.

I evolved it from a static site to a live platform serving the international community, running on cost-efficient cloud primitives and background workers.

Open source

LifeBinder

Open-source, zero-knowledge, local-first end-of-life planning application

Runs entirely in the browser with no backend. Data is stored locally in IndexedDB with AES-256-GCM encryption using a passphrase-derived key (PBKDF2). Features encrypted backup export and PDF export. Available in English, German, Spanish, and French under the MIT licence. Self-hostable with Docker.

  • Architected self-service infrastructure platforms reducing developer lab provisioning from days to under 10 minutes across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Designed landing zones and IaC patterns for multi-environment cloud migrations, ensuring safe deployment paths and clear ownership.
  • Led cloud cost optimisation programmes that reduced waste and improved cost predictability for multi-account estates.
  • Migrated suitable event-driven and API services to serverless architectures to reduce operational toil.
